Billy Childish White Wolf

A striking, evocative piece by the legendary polymath Billy Childish, White Wolf showcases the artist’s raw, deeply emotional approach to the natural world. Captured with a vibrant yet brooding palette, the work depicts a lone wolf moving through a moody, expressive winter landscape. Channeling the primal, fluid energy of expressionist masters like Edvard Munch and Vincent van Gogh, Childish trades sterile precision for rapid, intuitive brushstrokes that hum with vitality and stark honesty.

Published by the renowned L-13 Light Industrial Workshop, this work highlights the quiet, introspective beauty of the wilderness and reflects Childish’s signature focus on figuration and raw landscape.
